I am taking a trip with my father to visit a relative in Orangeburg, SC. So early on 2/8/2017 we boarded a flight to Columbia, SC (CAE) from Washington (DCA) thanks to my sister-in-law. Below are a few pictures.
My last day in London, I took a trip to Greenwich before I had to get to the airport. The most important thing for me to do there was to see the GMT/UTC timeline and the Cutty Sark, which I did. After that I explored the town, market, and found the biggest meringues that one could ever eat.

Big Ben. Sitting atop the Palace of Westminster was one of the landmarks that I wanted to photograph the most. Below are pictures from multiple days over my visit to London. More than you probably ever wanted to see. 🙂

On Day 5 I attended a lot of meetings but finally went to the meeting that I was originally scheduled to go to. The meeting was at the M By Montcalm Shoreditch in London Tech City. It was awesome to take pictures from the street and end up in the restaurant right beside the crane that I was seeing. The hotel is beautiful and the meal was excellent.
On Day 3 I went to High Tea at Fortnum & Mason on the recommendation of a co-worker. I was not disappointed.
Our office and also the company that I was going to visit are in the London Financial District and Shoreditch area. One of my friends recommended the Hotel Indigo London Tower Hill as it is close to both locations. I usually don’t post hotel photos because we have all been there and done that. But this hotel was special in one very big way. It was the cheapest hotel that I found on our travel site. In fact, it didn’t show up until my friend mentioned it and I searched for it on the site.
It was between £109 to £189 per night. This compared to many hotels that were around £300 pounds per night made it especially attractive as a spot for business travel, but I was a little suspicious because it was the cheapest hotel on the list. 🙂
When I got there I was pleasantly surprised at this boutique hotel with wonderful décor. The front desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I appreciated their warm greetings every morning and evening.
Below are some pictures of the Hotel Indigo London Tower Hill. If you ever get a chance to visit, I would truly recommend it.
The first thing that I did after I checked in to my hotel was to take a London Big Bus Tour. The bus tour is hop on and off. I know I was on the red route twice and in between the bus turned into another route. Needless to say I did fall asleep during one of the routes due to the fact that I got two hours of sleep on the plane. 🙂 It didn’t matter, I was just happy to be in London!
Below you will find a few of the 900+ pictures I took on day one.
I knew I had arrived when I saw the London Eye and Big Ben.
