The Philadelphia Museum of Art and the surrounding area are beautiful. If you mix a classic building, water, the city, sunset, and a major train corridor, you are bound to see something beautiful. Below I hope that you enjoy a few of the pictures that I took on New Year’s Eve and have converted to Black and White. I have taken many more during other visits and I am sure there will be even more in the future.

I have continually for years said that I love black and white photography. If anyone ever heard me and saw the pictures that I post they would say are you sure about that because you seem to love color. 🙂 Well over the last few days I have been learning more about black and white through a course that is being taught by Ben Long on Lynda.com. I have also been reading his book, Complete Digital Photography. In the course he demonstrated changing the individual color’s shades of grey. For some reason this just opened my eyes to the creativity of black and white. I am here to say one more time, I love black and white photography. This time I am going to act on it and you will see many more black and white photos.
