2015 was a good year but it had one problem. It went by so quickly! This year I don’t have any great resolutions other than the normal ones I have had for the last few years: negative weight gain and eating healthier. Oh and let’s not forget blogging more and more photography. 🙂
I ran across a great article on how to cite sources when blogging. The main point is that you should quote, give attribution, and link back.
“But there’s still some internet etiquette that goes along with quoting someone other than just throwing some quotation marks around their statement. Here’s an internet-friendly way to quote someone in your content (taken from an old blog post of ours)” See the link below for the blog post
Corey Eridon, HubSpot Blogs,
I would like to purchase a tablet. It will possibly be an Android based tablet. I rather like the idea of having magazines on that tablet. I can download copies of ASTD’s T+D Magazine and PMI’s PM Network since I am a member of both organizations. The problem comes when it is time to read the magazines on my Droid 2. The screen is a nice size for most things, but I just can’t seem to want to read the magazines on my phone. The screen needs to be BIGGER.
In fact, when I get this tablet, it will help me move to the paperless revolution that was started so long ago and never actually materialized. 🙂
In this article on The 10 Best Corporate Blogs in the World, Mark Schaefer has gathered great information. I really do like the fact that he included the original goal of the blog. This could be very useful when looking at the actual blogs and seeing how they addressed the goals.
Since I am trying to fulfill my post a day resolution, I thought this was very interesting.
I’ve decided I want to blog more. Rather than just thinking about doing it, I’m starting right now. I will be posting on this blog once a day / once a week for all of 2011.
I know it won’t be easy, but it might be fun, inspiring, awesome and wonderful. Therefore I’m promising to make use of The DailyPost, and the community of other bloggers with similiar goals, to help me along the way, including asking for help when I need it and encouraging others when I can.
If you already read my blog, I hope you’ll encourage me with comments and likes, and good will along the way.
PS This post came from the Daily Post blog. But the rest will be original.
