It’s nice to get our for breakfast in Downtown DC. The Tofu Scramble is quite tasty and if you have a huge appetite there is a buffet.
I made it to London. It is my first trip out of North America. My friends, co-workers, sister-in-law, brother, and their children have all travelled outside of North America and I can finally say I have also. 🙂
I would like to thank my CEO and my CLO for providing this opportunity in support of meetings that I will be attending this week.
Today I rode the tour bus around town to understand the town.I saw a lot and of course took pictures that will be posted soon.
Right now I am just enjoying this beautiful meal at Square Mile Kitchen and Lounge and determining what I will do this evening. I don’t think I know it yet but I only had two hours of sleep on the flight last night/this morning. I am sure it will hit me hard soon.
Sticky Toffee Pudding was one of the “foods you must try when you go to London.” I think I am going to have to agree.
We went to visit the One Dish Cuisine Deli, Cafe, and Bakery on 12/29/2015. If you have food allergies this is the place for you. From desserts to pizza if you need gluten free options this is definitely the place for you. Gluten free is not the only consideration here. Visit their website to see what options are available from the green (dairy) and blue (non-dairy) kitchens. The owner and his wife are very welcoming and ready to answer questions about the options.
11/15/2015 This evening my husband took me out for the end of my birthday week dinner. He took me to the Great Sage. The Great Sage is a vegan restaurant in Clarksville, MD. This evening we had the broccoli and potato soup as the appetizer. It was delicious.
